It’s here! Spring weather has finally caught up with the calendar.
My rule is that if the temperature is above 50 degrees – open toe shoes are allowed, better yet – encouraged. Finally I got to bust out my new red strappy sandals that until now have been quietly and sadly sitting in the corner of my bedroom – waiting.
I went a little overboard with my eye candy research this week but I couldn’t help myself. Also – nice to see that my ankle strap obsession is still going strong.

Almost time for drinking on patios!
It’s officially spring. And although it doesn’t feel like it yet – I am optimistic. But I’m not only referring to the weather.
Today – as the Supreme Court hashed out a conversation about Marriage Equality – I was uplifted and inspired by the amount of love and positivity I came upon throughout the day via the interwebs. I knew I chose my friends for a reason.
In the spirit of social equality, happiness, Springtime, and love – here’s some shoe eye candy from every color in the rainbow.

Biv style – Red Patent Leather Double Strap T-Straps – $725 net-a-porter.com, Two Toned Orange Pumps – $116 topshop.com, Yellow Pointed Ballet Flat – $42 asos.com, Green Patent Pumps – $495 shoerate.com, Blue Strappy Sandals – $40 target.com, Indigo T-Strap Peep Toes – $90 zara.com, Violet Snakeskin Ankle Strap – $? dvf.com
“I might not be the same but that’s not important. No freedom til we’re equal; damn right I support it.” Same Love. – Macklemore
With 50 degree temperatures a fond memory of the past couple weeks and slushy, snowy wintry mixes an unfortunate reality of the present – I still haven’t taken my new red (beautiful) strappy heels for a spin.
I tried to cheer myself up with a thigh high stocking/sock double layer combo today – but alas, I am really just tired of wearing my winter coat.
As Spring officially begins in two days – let’s all close our eyes, wait for 11:11 and wish for warmer weather.
